Large Pores

Pores are a normal part of the skin, but they can appear larger when oil production increases, follicles become congested or the surrounding skin loses firmness and elasticity. Acne, sun exposure, genetics and changes in skin quality can also influence how noticeable they appear. 

For some patients, the main issue is excess oil and blocked pores. For others, reduced collagen, uneven texture or previous acne may be contributing.

Where relevant, A6 skin analysis allows us to assess visible pores alongside sebum, congestion, blackheads, hydration and skin-barrier quality. Understanding the main cause helps us choose treatments that refine the skin rather than relying on temporary surface fixes.
