Microneedling

The controlled microchannels created during treatment activate the skin’s natural repair response and encourage new collagen and elastin production. This helps improve skin texture, firmness and the appearance of concerns such as pores, fine lines and scarring.

 Microneedling can be used to treat various areas of the body, including:

The number of sessions depends on your starting point and the concern being treated. A single treatment may refresh the skin, while concerns such as acne scarring, pigmentation or deeper textural changes may benefit from a planned course - normally between 3-6 sessions.

Most patients describe the treatment as a prickling, vibrating or warming sensation. A numbing agent is applied beforehand. 

Redness is expected and usually resembles mild sunburn. The skin may also feel warm, tight or sensitive before settling over the following days.
