No. Cellulite can affect people of different ages, body shapes and weights. It relates to the structure of the skin and underlying tissue rather than body weight alone.

Alidya is commonly used on cellulite-prone areas such as:

• Thighs
• Buttocks
• Hips
• Abdomen
• Other selected body areas

The areas included in your plan will be confirmed during consultation.

 Alidya is usually delivered as a course of weekly treatments. The recommended treatment sessions is between 7 and 12 treatments spaced weekly. 

Improvement develops progressively rather than immediately. The skin may begin to appear smoother as the course progresses, with the overall result assessed after completing the recommended sessions.

Alidya is designed to visibly improve cellulite and skin dimpling. The degree of improvement varies according to the severity of cellulite, tissue quality, treatment area and individual response.

Yes. Where cellulite exists alongside localised fat, skin laxity, scarring or uneven body texture, a coordinated treatment plan may be recommended. 

For example, Alidya may be considered alongside Aqualyx or regenerative body treatments when each treatment is addressing a different part of the concern.

Most patients experience little disruption to their normal routine. Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising or small raised areas may be visible following treatment.

As with any injectable treatment, side effects and complications can occur. Common temporary effects include redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising. Less common risks depend on the treatment area and individual factors and will be discussed clearly during consultation and consent.
